The 110th Member of the Madrid System
Jamaica accessed the Madrid Protocol on December 27, 2021 becoming the 110th member of the Madrid System, now comprising 126 countries.
From March 27, 2022 Jamaican trademark owners will be allowed to obtain protection for their brands with the simple filing of only one international application, reducing the complexity and the costs to obatain an international protection.
